Hello-Hello, and welcome to a weekend. Well, almost. Kinda’-sorta’-not-really-but-we-act-like-it-is-anyway-because-it-makes-us-smile-and-act-goofy.
Once again we are brief as we continue catching up with Princess duties, so we jump right in with happy news from Kate Spade. You might guess that for someone who
blathers on relentlessly occasionally chats about weddings we were were excited to see that the company has launched Kate Spade Wedding Belles collection.
Above we show the Elenore dress, below is another look at the silk frock, better showing its fringe embellishment.
Below, the Kate Spade Melody in silk, as shown at the relatively new Nordstrom wedding boutique.
Other dresses include the Naomi (L) and the Aubrey Wrap Dress (R).
The collection officially launched last week, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, jewelry and other accessories are also offered. (For anyone in the city this Wednesday, the line debuts at the flagship store on Fifth, there is a little party between 6-8pm)
A quick reminder, we are in the middle of the Kate Spade Friends & Family promotion.
To receive 25% off your order and free shipping, use discount code FFSPR11 at checkout, the promotion ends tomorrow night (Saturday, the 9th) at midnight.
Next, for those fond of tracking the varying versions of “Preppy is Back,” or “Preppy Style Returns,” etc., we share a look at Fab Sugar’s “The Return of Preppy”.
From the post:
“Just between us, I’m actually embracing many of the “classic preppy” looks that we’re seeing so much of in the current magazine issues.”

In the spirit of Friday fun we must share the following, the perfect gift for those
not as obsessed not quite as intrigued as some of us are with the upcoming royal nuptials.
The limited edition mugs are the creation of Sorry But…., a British company with the motto “Commemorate your indifference.” An utterly brilliant item IOHO, unfortunately the mugs aren’t available stateside, so anyone interested needs to have a pal across the pond order the mug and then send it your way. By the way, 10% of all sales proceeds are being donated to a charity for Stoke-on-Trent, where English fine china originated, currently facing the highest unemployment rate in the UK.
On that wacky note, goodbye until next time, may the sun be shining on you and yours this weekend!
