It’s another brief post today as we attempt to play catchup on what is beginning to seem like The Lost Weekend (minus Ray Milland and the liquid refreshments) in triplicate.
We begin with an early look at the Stella McCartney for Gap collection, due in stores and online November 2.

However… we then have this blasphemy in that very same story:
“But designing children’s clothes for Gap was such a big step outside her comfort zone that she found herself pondering life’s bigger questions, like why do girls like pink?”
Gasp! Quelle horreur! (Actually, that question has been asked previously here at the Prepatorium; we generally have a one-word response: “Because.”)

Most of the clothes look darling, we can’t wait to hear everyone’s reactions once the line is in stores and on little ones.
We have a fairly high volume of unrelated ‘dribs and drabs’ stacked up; we’re are going to try and make our way through these, starting with something being referred to in some quarters as the Gucci Boat Shoe, an oxymoron if we ever we heard one.
This is officially a “sneaker” per Gucci‘s snooze news release:
“A new limited edition Gucci Ronson sneaker will be introduced at each international destination of the tour, in addition to an exclusive edition of 18 sneaker styles in the GUCCI ICON-TEMPORARY sneaker collection.”
For those fond of the design, the footwear will be available at a Gucci pop-up store in the city beginning tomorrow. We can hardly contain ourselves.
