We Need a Little Christmas

Hello-Hello, happy frozen Monday!

Today we offer something a little different, using news photos and lyrics from “We Need a Little Christmas,” the well known song in Mame.

But Santa, dear, we’re in a hurry…

Edinburgh, Scotland

Climb down the chimney…

Seoul, S. Korea

Turn on the brightest string of lights I’ve ever seen…

Washington, DC

Slice up the fruitcake, it’s time we hung some tinsel on the evergreen bough…

Strasbourg

For I’ve grown a little leaner…

New Orleans

Grown a little colder…

Buffalo

Minneapolis Metrodome

Grand Forks

Milwaukee

Grown a little sadder…

France

Grown a little older…

Denmark

And I need a little angel sitting on my shoulder…

Germany

Need a little Christmas now.

Eastern Lebanon

May your week be merry and bright.

Love the photos! Hope you have a wonderful, joy-filled holiday season! 🙂

  2. Man, I needed to hear/see this today and remember that my “problems” aren’t really problems, more like inconviniences.

That said, I do think it is funny that the Metrodome collapsed. Rotten!

  4. Thanks for the snowy pictures, we have crazy hot 80* weather in Southern California and its so weird with my holiday decorations and need for eggnog, hot cider & christmas cookies!
I heard the funniest story on Ira Glass about the national organization of Santas…even santas have drama over who is more santa-like.

Thank you so much for the great service. The fabulous Lilly Agendas arrived in time for our side of the families early Christmas party. I so appreciate your pretty wrapping and the surprise you included was fab.
