I totally agree. Any logo larger than a VV whale or small regular (not the new big obnoxious thing) Polo pony (or pretty much anything the size of my thumbprint) is unacceptable. I won’t wear Tommy Hilfiger bc his stuff used to be splashed with his name. maybe it’s not anymore, I don’t know. I was just bitter that it was so loud. I also don’t feel like paying $ to be a walking advertisement.

  2. It’s interesting how Lois Fenton refers to the new, larger logo style as upscale and somewhat preppy. What? I think it is the opposite.

I am glad I found your blog. You are a talented writer and I look forward to reading more.

  3. That is TOO funny! I remember the first time I came to this site and thought– “OOH! What a great bow! Wonder where she found it?” HAHA! Life truly IS better with a bow!!!! Cheers to US! 🙂

  4. Chic??? Those T-shirts???

  5. Love this post (as always). Those “chic” t-shirts remind me of the hideousness that is Abercrombie & Fitch.

I love the fact that you called Mr. Lauren on the slippers. When I was browsing through his site and saw those, my first thought was “Why would I want another man’s initials on my slippers?” I also couldn’t believe my eyes the first time I saw a man wearing the large pony logo. I thought it was in jest or a joke.

I’ll stick with J. Press and Brooks.
