In an unusually emotive display making her appear almost human, The Princess begs everyone who hasn’t seen this month’s Nostalgia article in Vogue to run to their closest library or newsstand to read Amy Ephron’s article, “I Love Saks”. The subhead explains “Amy Ephron describes a life spent seeking sparks and solace at the fabled countertops of a New York department store.” It is really a wonderful story, very similar in tone and tenor to My Summer at Tiffany, by Marjorie Hart, so good the Princess calls it Prepalicious! This is the May 2008 Vogue, the one with the much-discussed Gwyneth Paltrow photo on the cover.
