J Crew vs Banana Republic
How do you like the little war being waged between J. Crew & Banana Republic? Last year it was J. Crew’s Collection of higher-end merchandise in limited-editions As the company said in their snooze release “BR Monogram, our signature label collection defined by remarkably rich fabrics, distinctive details and modern silhouettes for the most eloquent expression of style. Available in limited quantities.” Gosh. For some reason I’m not in a frenzy, panic-stricken at the thought of not getting one of the limited editions! Methinks we are underwhelmed. What about you? “Love it-love it-love it,” or “Too much to do about not too much.” The Princess is simply *dying* to know! (BTW, the items above BR Monogram Scroll Print Dress, their Graphic Print Tote and the yellow bag is J Crew’s Uptown Tote.

Just in case the intersection of Peachtree & Piedmont in Buckhead (busy, busy busy roads in Atlanta for those wondering)) wasn’t already a nightmare, word today that the disco Kroger there is going to be renovated into a “Fresh Fare Kroger.” This really is for the best, trust me. Yes, you’ll face the trauma of some short term pain if that’s your store of choice, but the new & improved store will have *much* better goodies. Honest. Oh, we called it the disco Kroger cuz’ years ago there was a disco next to it. You *do* remember what a disco was like…?
