Hello-Hello!
We apologize, but we were swamped getting out last minute orders today. So between dealing with the folks here…
And these wonderful people…
Along with the fabulous folks at this place…
It was very late in the day indeed.
We returned to The Prepatorium to discover someone left the drawbridge over the moat down, and all of the minions were gone. So *we* actually had to attempt to bake. (The horror. You’ve no idea.)
We decided to follow these helpful directions from A Suburban Princess for the yummy Pretzel Treats. Thank heaven we did, because that means we actually have one thing something to share with family and friends. (Yes, ever the connoisseur, we used multiple flavors of Hershey’s Kisses in creating them.)
That success was not replicated in our other endeavors.
Many of our Basler Brunsli came out just fine, like those above.

Sadly, that was not the case with all of them. Efforts to salvage the rest of the chocolate almond disasters goodies are proving futile, so we must fly back to the kitchen and begin anew. Sigh.
Regardless, we still say, “until next time, smiles all around!”

Merry Christmas!!!
You shall receive an “A” for attempting! The pretzel treats look yummy. Know you’re not alone in the holiday treat disasters. My rum balls looked much like your chocolate almond goodies, but they tasted just fine.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Happy Christmas dear Princess! I am so happy to know you. Let’s hear it for 2011! Love, Wendy
Merry Christmas to you all!
