Hello-Hello, Happy Friday to one and all.
Today’s post is full of frivolity, with nary a serious item contained within, do proceed with caution.
We begin with word of yet another entrant to the cosmetics marketplace, designer and Project Runway judge Michael Kors has done a line with Estee Lauder.
The Very Hollywood color collection launches in January with two color palettes, Rodeo Pink and Bel Air Beige (seen below).

We can’t let the day go by without sharing a few more ‘preppy Halloween costumes’. Ahem.
Somehow we don’t see readers sporting this as they’re strolling through the neighborhood.

We also have news from the land of Gossip Girl: the Sun-Times has a story about two of the show’s more prominent stars, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley:
From the story:
“According to a close Lively pal, the couple are expected to announce their engagement soon, though likely not this weekend, as some speculated — given Sunday is Badgley’s 23rd birthday.”
There you have it.

Regular readers know we are forever fixating on the issue of logos and their place (none) on apparel, accessories and the like. In the spirit of Friday Fun, we bring you the latest from our LogoPhobia Files:
Why have boring old bread or rolls when you can enjoy Burberry bread?
Oh. It is another brand you favor?
These loaves of bread are actually spoofs, part of a feature in Flamboyant, a new Italian magazine; we spotted them over at Fashion Copious, our thanks to both.

We leave you with a look at the venerable Snoopy, perhaps clad in apparel normally reserved for more formal appearances.
As part of Japan Fashion Week, designers dressed Snoopy in honor of his upcoming 60th birthday. The Chanel seen above is a little blah for us, but we adore this look from Balenciaga.
The look from Hermès is also fun.
With that we say g’bye until next time, may everyone enjoy a safe and fun Halloween!

I have loved Snoopy since the 4th grade, so I am loving those displays!Thank you so much for posting them!
love the Hermes Snoopy
And if I had to pick, I’d go with the LV roll!
kHm
All we need now is Paddington Bear in Burberry.
The lipstick is divine. I do love a good pink shade. I have a feeling those so called Halloween costumes get their fair share of face time on the corner of Hollywood and Vine between the hours of 2 and 4 am most nights of the week.
I love the Snoopys all dressed up!
SNOOPY!!!!! MY FAVORITE!!!!!
I’m dressing up as Charlie Brown tomorrow
Happy Halloween, PP!
Haha…I thought that 2nd bread loaf was a breast implant!
I didn’t know Michael Kors was doing another line with Estee Lauder? I purchased some Micheal Kors for Estee Lauder a few summers ago and I actually really like the colors. They were neutral and versatile.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Oops – I meant to say really liked the colors. Silly me, I didn’t proofread my comment!
how cute with the designer Snoopy! very cool!
xox
I love the Snoopy pics! How cute
As for the Halloween costumes…um…yeah.
I totally had a Snoopy SnowCone machine growing up.
Any why do all female adult costumes need to look like they belong in the bedroom only? Skiiiiiip-y!
Love the MK for Estee Lauder palettes. Designer clad Snoopy’s are so cute. My fave would have to be the Hermes too.
I LOVE Snoopy! LOL! Hope you had a fun Halloween.
LOVE Snoopy!!!!!!
Getting engaged at such an early age…. I give them tops 1 year! On another note, the Chanel Snoopy is simply adorable!
Hope you had a great weekend! xoxox
